  • Apple Names 'Quell Memento+' the App of the Week in the iOS App Store This Week

It's Thursday again, which means Apple has selected a new App of the Week in the iOS App Store as they do every single week. Last week's pick, Time Surfer - Endless Arcade Magic, has been replaced on the main App Store page with Quell Memento+, and as a result of being the App of the Week, the usual price tag of $2.99 has been shrunken down to a much more desirable FREE price tag.

Being labeled the App of the Week is a huge honor for the developers of any application that makes its way into that title; it means that Apple's App Store team has recognized the application or game for its quality and/or usefulness. In the realm of games, this typically means that it's a fun game far too often overlooked by those that download more of the popular games in the App Store, while the underdog doesn't get noticed.

Quell Memento+ is a puzzler game in which the scenery is based out of an old abandoned house, and as the developers note in the App Store description, "the player restores order to the jumbled memories of the last occupant, and in doing so embarks on a haunting journey of self-discovery and reflection."

If you're interested in downloading Quell Memento+ and giving it a try, you can head over to this App Store link. Check it out, as the free price tag goes back to $2.99 starting next Thursday!
