  • AppleCare and AppleCare+ to be Offered at Best Buy Starting September 13th

Apple has yet to announce when their iPhone 6s and 6s Plus event would be taking place, but many have anticipated that it will be held on September 9th. Nothing has been confirmed yet, so everyone is still just assuming and estimating. However, it has been reported that all Best Buy stores will be offering the company’s extended warranty, the AppleCare and AppleCare+ for the iPhone, Mac, iPad, and Apple Watch starting September 13th. This report comes from MacRumors, as they were able to obtain an internal training video on the new information.

Best Buy’s AppleCare+ will cover customer’s accidental coverage at the same service fees that Apple charges. The protection plans will also cover product accessories that come with the box. Those who purchase either one of the protection plans can get serviced at both Best Buy and Apple Retail Stores. As for those who use non-Apple products will still be able to purchase Geek Squad warranty plans from Best Buy. The warranty plans from Best Buy will include 24 hours a day/7 days a week support, Protect & Support Plus, as well as Greek Squad Protect & Support.
