  • Apple Begins Selling Standalone Modern Buckle Leather Apple Watch Bands

Today is a pretty big day for Apple's Apple Watch wrist straps. Earlier today, Apple launched larger versions of the Apple Watch Sport band, as well as an extension kit for the stainless steel link bracelet, and now Apple has also just commenced the individual sale of its modern buckle leather wrist straps for the 38mm Apple Watch.

This the first time since the Apple Watch's initial launch that this particular wrist strap can be had separately without having to purchase an Apple Watch to get it.

The modern buckle style Apple Watch wrist straps are made from Granada leather and are available in Small 135150mm, Medium 145165mm, and Large 160180mm sizes with the soft pink, brown, midnight blue, and black color choices for $249.00 each.

If you're interested in grabbing one, you can head over to this link to Apple's Web site to check out more details about the wrist strap, as well as place your order.

For that price I'd rather have a knock off band and buy a second watch. Please put down the crack pipe Apple...

I agree, on crack with those prices. The metal link and leather bands should be $99. That is more than a fair price and still making plenty of profit. The profit margins on the bands must be more than on the watch itself.

The watch doesn't say Jaeger or Bulgari anywhere to justify these prices. They really do think they're a real watch manufacturer. What a joke.

Yes we can all agree their prices are a little steep but every product they've come out with has been like that so we can't act all surprised. We just won't purchase them

$249 for a freaking band? LOL what the hell are they smoking. No wonder they can't sell those silly watches. Someone at Apple needs to pull their heads out of their ***.

I was going to rant about the price but you've all beaten me to it! $250 is pretty outrageous....
