  • Google Updates Mobile App for iOS With Always On 'OK Google' and Other Improvements

Google has released a notable update for its popular mobile application on the iOS platform on Wednesday, bringing the application up to version 7.0 in the iOS App Store.

The updated Google application for iOS has been imbued with a new feature that allows the user to say "OK Google" while viewing a Web page from the application and then ask questions pertaining to the topic they're reading. Google will be smart enough to know what you're reading about and then find information on what you have asked about based on what you're looking at on the Web page.

Moreover, Google has also made changes so that local search results are more detailed and give the user more information at a glance, and users can now copy and paste text from anywhere within the mobile Google application, giving users more power over in-app content.

Existing users of Google's mobile application for iOS will find the latest version of the application under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Google for free from this App Store link.
