  • Beats 1 Radio Adds New Replay Feature for Listeners

According to MacStories, Apple updated their Beats 1 Radio station recently so that users and listeners can now get access to full radio segment replays. Radio segments that are part of the Beats 1: Replay feature include shows from Ebro Darden, Zane Lowe, and Julie Adenuga. This way, listeners will never have to worry about missing another show again. Usually after a full show, there’s an option to listen to DJ playlists, but no way to listen to the entire show until 12 hours later where they broadcast the second play through.

The new Beats 1: Replay feature will definitely come in handy when listeners are too busy to listen to their favorite guest on the radio. Using this new feature is almost like listening to the show live for the first time. The Replay feature is sort of hidden, so follow the steps below to replay a past show:

    1. Open Apple Music
    2. Tap Radio and click ‘Listen Now’
    3. Scroll down the chart until you see the ‘featured shows’ section and select a DJ
    4. After selecting a DJ, go to the ‘Connect’ tab and there you’ll see Beats 1: Replay if there’s a show to replay.

Users can also type in the DJ’s name and ‘Replay’ in the search bar if they want. One thing re-recordings don’t do is allow listeners to see what song is playing, add the songs to playlist, or heart songs. However, this option is still definitely worth it if you miss the artist you want to listen to because you are too busy doing something else.
