  • Apple Watch Prices in New Zealand Revealed on Apple Website Prior to Launch

It was announced recently that Apple would be launching their Apple Watch devices in New Zealand starting the end of the month on July 31st. Now, the regional online storefront has been updated by the Cupertino-based company and prices have been revealed. Pricing for the Apple Watch begins at NZD 599, which is around $395 for the aluminum Sport model and goes up to NZD 30,000 (approximately $1,990 USD) for the Edition models.

The cheapest device is obviously the 38mm Apple Watch Sport model, which is NZD 599 and the 42mm version is NZD 699. As for the stainless steel models, the price tags are NZD 949 and NZD 1049. The most expensive devices are the Apple Watch Editions in rose gold and yellow gold, which go anywhere from NZD 17,500 to NZD 30,000.

The Apple Watch availability is expanding internationally, as last month countries including Mexico, South Korea, Italy, Taiwan, Singapore, Spain, and Switzerland all launched the wearable device. Then Thailand, Netherlands, and Sweden received the smartwatches just last week and now New Zealand on July 31st. So Apple is definitely releasing the device slowly in most other countries. Those living in New Zealand will be able to order the Apple Watch beginning 7:01am local time on July 31st. Make sure you’re up early enough to snatch one up in time!
