  • Fourth iOS 9, OS X El Capitan, and WatchOS 2 Betas Released to Developers

The fourth betas of OS X El Capitan, iOS 9, and watchOS 2 were released by Apple to developers for testing recently. The new OS X beta has build number 15A226f and the new iOS 9 beta has build number 13A4305g. iOS 9's fourth beta comes just two weeks after the last one was released to developers for testing. As for the new watchOS 2 beta, the build number is 13S5305d.

The three software updates are due to officially release sometime this fall, so we're sure Apple is doing everything to get them right. As of right now, it is not surprising that there are still bugs in the betas as it is still very early. There are reported issues in iCloud Backup, Maps, Safari, Siri, AirPlay, Apple Pay, Multitasking, and more.

As for OS X El Capitan, there are issues with Apple ID, Photos, and Language. If you are not a developer but are interested in testing out betas of iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan, you can do so by going to Apple's public beta program and signing up. The beta of watchOS 2 however, is not available for public testing.
