  • Here Are 10 Great Cydia-Modifying Jailbreak Tweaks You Can Install Right Now!

Ever since Saurik opened up Cydia to modification by jailbreak tweaks with Cydia Installer 1.1.19 and later, which first debuted at the beginning of the month, there have been some impressive releases that make Cydia even cooler. Since we understand you can't be by the computer all day long to watch us post about all of them, there's a chance you may have missed a few.

This recap will go over some of the best Cydia-modifying jailbreak tweaks we've showed you in the last month so that you can modify the look and functionality of Cydia on your jailbroken iOS device(s) right now; keep in mind of course that all of these tweaks work flawlessly on the TaiG jailbreak for iOS 8.1.3-8.x!

Without further ado, check them out!

    1. SwipeForMore

By far one of my favorites has been SwipeForMore, which adds much-needed functionality to Cydia, allowing you to swipe to the left on something to reveal options, such as install, uninstall, and queue. These native-style gestures are something that we think should have been provided in the stock experience of Cydia, as it brings Cydia much more up to speed on current iOS UI/UX. Our full post on SwipeForMore is available at this link.

    2. TweaksRefresher

Another one you shouldn't be caught dead without is TweaksRefresher, which adds one of the simplest things to Cydia that has been missing for years: Pull to Refresh. Now, refreshing your Cydia sources for new tweaks is just a pull away, rather than having to tap on a button. You can read our full post on TweaksRefresher at this link.

    3. FavoriteTweaks

FavoriteTweaks is another in-house favorite, which allows you to easily keep a running list of all the favorite tweaks in Cydia, whether you have them installed on your device or not. It's great for creating a quick reference point so that you don't forget a tweak's name and can uninstall things and reinstall them later. You can read our full post on FavoriteTweaks at this link.

    4. TranslucentCydia

For those moments where appearance is important to you, TranslucentCydia is a brilliantly-made tweak that brings some iOS 7/8 style to the Cydia Installer interface. Bringing modernized transparency to the Cydia Installer interface rather than just pitch black, this makes Cydia feel much more native running as a symbiont to your mobile operating system. You can read our full post on TranslucentCydia at this link.

    5. Nella

If transparency isn't your thing, then Nella might be. Rather than transparency, this tweak lets you colorize the Cydia Installer interface with different color options. It might just be the deal-breaker between TranslucentCydia and Nella, depending on your tastes. Unfortunately, due to Web site maintenance, our full post on this tweak was lost, but you can still check it out in Cydia!

    6. ShareTweak

Sharing is caring, and that's why ShareTweak made it on this list. It's a simple extension for Cydia Installer that makes it possible to share links to new jailbreak tweaks using various sharing methods, like e-mail, iMessage, text message, and more. Now, when you want to share a new tweak with a friend, you can simply tap a button and send them a link to it so they can download it. You can read our full post on ShareTweak at this link.

    7. Landia

Not all devices support landscape mode for Cydia like the new iPhone 6 Plus and iPads do. If you're in this boat, then a free jailbreak tweak called Landia is well worth your time if you've been seeking this functionality, as it enables landscape mode on unsupported devices. You can read our full post on Landia at this link.

    8. Codling

That infamous "Reloading Data" pop-up has been the same in Cydia for years, and Codling is a free jailbreak tweak that lets you modify the look of it. Now, you can choose between a light or dark theme, among other options. You can make Cydia look pretty snazzy with this tweak. You can read our full post on Codling at this link.

    9. ShowAllCydiaUpdates

If you never want to miss a beat when Cydia updates its packages and you always want a log of what's been updated, as well as what's new in the "Changes" tab, then ShowAllCydiaUpdates is a tweak for you. This tweak forces the "Show All Changes" option to be enabled for every single package in Cydia. This way, you don't have to enable it one-by-one for the thousands of packages available. It even updates for new packages as they're released. You can read our full post on ShowAllCydiaUpdates at this link.

    10. nobar+

This one is pretty simple; nobar+ removes the Status Bar from the Cydia interface so that you get more pixels dedicated to content. It's somewhat of a full-screen enabler for Cydia. You can read our full post on nobar+ at this link.

What a great idea, I don't know how we went so long with out it. I do wish however they had a import and export feature on it.

And while I'm on my wish list, I wish they had a way to import and export your sources as well.

      Definitely worth getting.

Csources2 can import and export sources. It also allows you to add and remove them from your list.

Cydia should prompt for an essential upgrade immediately after refreshing sources.
