  • Google Just Released a New 'Big Number Calculator' in the iOS App Store Called 'Ivy'

Google has unexpectedly launched a new application in the iOS App Store on Friday called Ivy Big Number Calculator that the company says is an "experimental" application that can be used to solve complex mathematics with "arbitrary precision."

The application was released with no press release of any kind, so Google doesn't go in much detail about the application or its motives behind it, but here's what the App Store description says (short and to the point):

It uses exact rational arithmetic so it can handle arbitrary precision. Values may be input as integers, rationals, or floating point values.

    FEATURES:
    Arbitrary floating point formatting
    Exact rational arithmetic
    Big number logarithm
    Trigonometric functions
Ivy Big Number Calculator can be installed for free on your iOS device(s) by visiting this App Store link.
