  • Beats1 Advertisement Released in Times Square, New York City Days Before Launch

We are now just days before the launch of Apple Music and the company launches a new advertisement for Beats1 in Times Square, New York City. The photo was first captured by DJ Zane Lowe, who is actually one of the DJs in the upcoming 24/7 streaming radio station. Lowe posted the photo to social media site Twitter with the caption reading ‘Times Sq now @Beats1.”

Even though we don’t know how much Apple paid for this new advertisement and how long it’ll actually be there for, but we can sure assume it cost the company a lot to advertise in that space. Not only is Times Square consistently one of the busiest places, it is also big on tourists from around the world as well. So you can definitely bet that enough people are seeing the billboard and will hopefully test out the service.

The billboard reads ‘Worldwide. Always on’ and the date of June 30th, 2015. An unusual thing to their advertisement is the fact that there is no Apple logo found anywhere on the billboard. We guess if the ad piqued anyone’s interest, they would actually look up Beats1 and realize it is Apple behind it, if they didn’t already know.
