New reports are circulating the web saying that Beats1 will have celebrity shows featuring artists like Elton John, Pharrell Williams, Drake, St. Vincent, Josh Homme, and Disclosure. According to The New York Times, other celebrities like Dr. Dre and actor Jaden Smith will also have featured shows on the station. Apparently Beats1 will be interchanging one and two-hour programming blocks between DJs Zane Lowe, Julie Adenuga, Ebro Darden and special celebrity shows.

Beats1 is a different type of radio station than the companyís iTunes Radio, which is very much like Pandora. So far, the only piece of information thatís been made public is Elton Johnís show, which will be called ĎElton Johnís Rocket Hourí and feature some new and old music, The new station will also have celebrity interviews and the first guest that was announced was rapper Eminem. News broke that the Cupertino-based company has already recorded the rapperís interview, but nothing will be going live until June 30th when Apple Music launches.

Again, Apple Music will have two different subscription plans- a $9.99 per month for a single user or $14.99 per month for a family of up to 6 members. The music service will have a 90-day trial period for all those who would like to test out the service.
