  • Five Great Free Apps and Games for iOS - June 25th Edition

It's that time of the week again; the time of the week where we go over some great new free-to-download releases from the App Store.

In this post, we're going to show you five great free apps and games for iOS from the App Store. We know how hard application discovery can be on the iOS platform, and that's why we're here to help. Below, you'll find five great apps and games that are available right now that you may or may not have heard of. We do this every week!

If you missed our previous Five Great Free Apps and Games for iOS, you can head over to this link to read our June 18th edition.

    1. Bonanza National Geographic

Bonanza National Geographic is first on our list this week. It's a puzzler game by National Geographic where you will be given a hint and you have to make do with the resources you're given. It might be a jigsaw puzzle related to the hint, or a word puzzle related to the hint. As you advance, the puzzles get harder, and it's a great way to train your brain in what feels like a trivia/puzzle mix.

If you're interested in giving Bonanza National Geographic a try, it's available free of cost at this App Store link. Check it out!

    2. Loop Drive: Crash Race

Second up on our list this week is Loop Drive: Crash Race, which is a game that will have you working on your hand eye coordination. You'll be using the cognitive process of your brain as you attempt to reason the correct speed and timing to make your car buzz around in the loop. As you make a successful loop, you get a point. Unfortunately, the more points you make, the harder the game gets. More cars will clutter up the opposing loop, which just so happens to overlap your loop. You have to avoid crashing into them, but still achieve laps. Oh it's fun, and it can get really hard; trust me!

If you're interested in giving Loop Drive: Crash Race a try, it's available free of cost at this App Store link. Check it out!

    3. Try Harder

For those that like platformer games, Try Harder by Adult Swim is sure to impress. In this game, like many other platformer games, your overall goal is to just keep moving while jumping over things and avoiding slamming into walls or falling. The dynamic of the game is fun, but it has some nice graphics that remind us of how mobile gaming should be. There are all kinds of ways to survive in this game, including double jumping, drifting, and more.

If you're interested in giving Try Harder a try, it's available free of cost at this App Store link. Check it out!

    4. Hue Ball

Hue Ball is another great game worthy of recognition. This game has you blasting balls at other balls, which grow in size as you miss them. When you hit them, they lose a layer, and when you hit the final layer, they disappear, which is good. You want to avoid having them reflect back at your cannon, because this does damage, and if you do this too much, you'll lose.

If you're interested in giving Hue Ball a try, it's available free of cost at this App Store link. Check it out!

    5. Downhill Riders

Last on our list this week, but definitely not least, is a Downhill Riders, which is a game where you're going to be hurdling downhill at a fast rate and you just have to do your best to jump over and avoid all obstacles that will get in your way. You'll be able to jump or swerve to avoid them. It's worth a try if you have to kill some time before a doctor's appointment or a meeting.

If you're interested in giving Downhill Riders a try, it's available free of cost at this App Store link. Check it out!

I actually found Loop Drive rather entertaining, but the ads were very abundant causing me to uninstall.
