  • Apple Seeds OS X 10.11 El Capitan Developer Preview 2 to Developers for Testing

On Tuesday, alongside iOS 9 beta 2, Apple has seeded OS X 10.11 El Capitan to developers for testing approximately two weeks after the initial developer preview was seeded to developers following the WWDC 2015 Keynote.

The new developer preview of OS X 10.11 El Capitan includes performance improvements, security enhancements, stability improvements, and bug fixes to make the operating system more stable for testing.

Moreover, an updated beta version of Xcode has been launched to developers so that they can take advantage of developing for the new platform ahead of the Fall release to the public to help make the transition as seamless as possible for users.

OS X 10.11 El Capitan will bring users a variety of new features and improvements when it is released in the Fall. The operating system improves the fluidity and performance of the operating system to combat sluggishness and bugs in current operating systems. Moreover, it improves various applications in the operating system, such as SpotLight with smarter search results, Notes with improvements to text content, and more.

Developers can grab the new update from the Mac App Store's Updates tab. A restart is required after installing the updated operating system, so you should save all work before progressing to prevent data loss.
