  • More Big Names Pile onto the Apple Pay Parade

A big thing is only getting bigger.

Following the recent addition of major retailers like GameStop and financial institutions like the federal credit union used by NASA employees, Apple's mobile money platform shows no sign of its adoption rate slowing down.

On Tuesday, the list of financial organizations and banks to accept Apple Pay grew by more than 2 dozen. Although most added aren't well known and are mostly small credit unions, there is a notable exception.

New to the list is UBS, the U.S.-based arm of the juggernaut Swiss banking giant that has clients who count themselves among the wealthiest and most prominent individuals in the world.

If you think the list of Apple Pay partners is long now, just wait. Next month, Apple Pay comes to the U.K. as part of the global roll-out of the mobile money service by Apple.
