  • Bethesda Releases "Fallout Shelter" Mobile Game Exclusively on the iOS Platform For Now

If you’re a fan of the Fallout franchise, you have a new mobile game to take up some time and hopefully hold you over to the highly anticipated release of Fallout 4. Unfortunately, the previous statement is only true for iOS fans as Android users are out of luck since the new mobile game, Fallout Shelter, is only available on the iOS platform for now.

In the recently announced and released game, in Fallout Shelter, players are put in charge of a fallout shelter where they are tasked to design their underground Vault, manage a community of Dwellers and protect the Vault from intruders. Players are able to assign jobs to dwellers, push them into romantic relationships that could help expand the community, and even go as far as sending Dwellers out into the wasteland as scouts where they can forage for and bring back items.

Considering Fallout is one of the most popular franchises when it comes to modern gaming, Bethesda’s decision to release the mobile game on the iOS platform only has upset many people. No word of an Android release has been announced aside from the fact that support for Android is coming “later.”

Those of you who are touting an iOS device can download Fallout Shelter for free from the App Store.

It is pretty fun. Very time consuming and can be difficult to get a hang of, but fun. Yes, this is the game I was playing all day today Akshay
