  • Apple's iPod Tab Gets Removed From Online Website

Apple’s iPod has always had its own tab on the company’s website homepage and this was the case for more than 13 years. However, it has been spotted that Apple has taken it down as of today and completely removed the tab from the menu bar. Now if you want to browse the different available iPods, you would have to go under the ‘Store’ tab and be able to find the ‘Shop iPod’ tab.

A possible reason for this may be because sales for the device have been declining over the years. Customers now end up using their iPhones to store music, or just use streaming music apps to listen to their music. It is no longer the trend to carry a second device around just for music. Those who are still interested in the iPod however, can still purchase the iPod Touch, iPod Shuffle, and iPod Nano from the company.

Apple today just unveiled its Apple Music streaming service, which will become available starting June 30th. If you had the option, would you subscribe to a streaming music service or would you purchase an iPod to store music on? Share with us in the section below, what are your thoughts on this?
