  • Apple Issues Recall on Beats Pill XL Bluetooth Speaker

    Last year, Apple acquired Beats Music and Beats Electronics and added the companies' products to its own offerings, both in the App Store and on Apple's online store.

    On Wednesday, the Cupertino, California-based Apple issued a voluntary recall on its Beats Pill XL Bluetooth speaker due to overheating problems that could result in a fire hazard and put the user's safety at risk.

    Because customer safety is the company’s top priority, Apple is asking customers to stop using their Beats Pill XL speakers.     Apple instructs users of the Beats Pill XL speaker to stop using it and visit the Beats Pill XL speaker recall Web page for instructions on returning the product and receiving a full Apple Store credit or electronic payment of $325 that can be put towards something else.
