  • Apple's Newest Manhattan Retail Store to Open June 13th

Start spreadin' the news. The scoop out of New York on Friday is that Apple's newest retail hotspot in the Big Apple is coming to Manhattan at the close of next month's WWDC.

As we understand it, the store in question is located on the Upper East side in Manhattan. The store will begin holding normal hours starting June 13th, just one day removed from the end of WWDC 2015.

All told, Apple is in good company. The retail scene in New York's upper east side is booming. A fleet of new luxury and other fancy retail shops is moving into the city as the summer progresses. So while the dust of construction is still flying, once it settles the region is going to be one of the hottest retail destinations in the entire city.

According to our friends at Apple Insider, who were first to report news of the June 13th grand opening, Apple's seven retail stores in New York could climb to eight or nine in the near future as more Apple Stores are already in the works.

I know the metropolises of the world produce the most revenue, but I sure wish they’d build some in a little more rural areas like south Georgia.
