  • Apple Looking to Fulfill Multiple Positions for iTunes

AppleInsider recently discovered that Apple has a large set of job listings newly posted onto their website. This could mean that they are looking to make major changes and even improvements to iTunes. It was noted that Apple is looking for a search engineer to "help build the next-generation of search features" at stores. This engineer is expected to bring latest discovery and search ideas to production at a large scale. Other positions the company is looking to fill include five iTunes Store positions which are all architecture or software engineer positions.

It really seems like the Cupertino-based company is looking to improve their iTunes department as there are positions at the Music Discovery Services Group, which “builds and enhances features driving the iTunes Store." Nobody knows what Apple has in store for iTunes, but is looks like they want customers to easily find and purchase videos, music, and other media. The positions may also be needed to help with their highly anticipated Beats Music revamp said to unveil at WWDC next month.

Another position Apple is looking for is a senior software engineer on the iTunes Media Services team. This person needs to work on “next generation products that change the way millions of users consume video," We’re not sure what this is for, but it could be for the rumored TV subscription service that was rumored.

Anyone looking to get hired by Apple? Take a look at the positions newly posted on Apple’s website here.
