  • Apple Preparing to Open First Retail Store in Belgium

It has been reported that Apple is getting ready to expand and build their first retail store in Belgium. A memo was apparently sent out recently announcing the new market according to sources in Apple retail. The company wanted to see if any employees were interested in relocating and help open the new store. The Cupertino-based company is definitely trying to expand around the world and we don’t blame them. Often times when Apple expands outside of the U.S., they try to use employees from the U.S., and well-established markets to help set up the new store.

According to the memo, Apple wanted those who are interested in relocating to respond to the note by the end of May, which means by next week. The company not only sent out a memo recently, but they also added multiple job listings for the Belgium store. They already told DeStandaard, a Belgium website, that a retail store was on its way. “We look forward to bringing the unique Apple retail experience to our customers in Belgium.”

The first retail store is said to be located at the Le Toison d’Or mall on Gulden-Vlieslaan in Brussels, although not yet been confirmed. Apple CEO Tim Cook already noted they had plans of expanding more retail locations in China, so we aren’t surprised they are going elsewhere to expand as well. Do you think Apple is doing all of this too quickly or do you think they are right on point? Share with us in the section below.
