  • iPad Air 2 Hits the Apple Refurbished Products Web Page for the First Time

The iPad Air 2, which is Apple's most recent iteration of the Cupertino, California-based company's tablet computer, has just hit the Apple Refurbished Products Web site for the first time.

Being a refurbished product, devices that are returned because customers no longer like them, or previously had issues prior to being fixed by Apple, are put up for discounted re-sale after being fully-refurbished to like-new condition with a new case and even a brand-new warranty, so it can be an awesome way to save some money and still get a great Apple product in your hands.

The refurbished iPad Air 2 begins at $419 for the most basic 16GB Wi-Fi only model, and goes up as high as $689 for a 128GB Wi-Fi & Cellular model. All colors of the device are available - gold, space gray, and silver, as well as all storage configurations ; 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB.

iPad Air 2, which debuted last year, comes with a Touch ID sensor, an A8X processor, and a special coating for the display that prevents unwanted light glare while reading text.

At first I misread that as $149 and got really excited.
