  • Apple Pay Lands at NASA

The list of Apple Pay participating issuers has just gotten longer. On Tuesday, Apple updated the ranks and there are some notable new entries worth recognizing.

As with previous updates, the number of new credit unions embracing Apple Pay remains impressive. Once again today, a host of new financial institutions have signed up for the red hot mobile payments platform that managed to take off faster than most expected -- perhaps even the folks at Apple.

Jumping out on the list today is the NASA Federal Credit Union. Customers who work at NASA as well as those who don't will now be able to utilize Apple Pay at this particular credit union. Additionally, a number of prominent credit unions in the West and South have also gotten on board, including the San Francisco Federal Credit Union and Texas-based University Federal Credit Union.

The nearly three-dozen new banks and financial organizations to adopt Apple Pay can be found on the revised list of Apple Pay participating issuers available online here.
