  • Apple Makes History in Forbes Global 2000

Yes, there are some accomplishments that Apple hasn't brought home yet. But that list just got a little bit shorter. Making history once again for the company, Apple just landed on its highest perch yet on the Forbes Global 2000 rankings.

With all criteria considered -- Sales, Profits, Assets, and Market Value -- Apple ranked number 12 on the list. Although not yet in the top ten, Apple did manage to best its leading tech competitors.

Apple topped Samsung, Microsoft, IMB, Google, Cisco and more -- in fact, every major rival in its market. Additionally, as the list goes on to confirm, Apple now enjoys the preeminent market cap of any sector. What are we talking about exactly? Roughly $740 billion.

The top companies to make the list are (1) ICBC (2) China Construction Bank (3)Agricultural Bank of China (4) Bank of China (5) Bershire Hathaway (6) JPMorgan (7) Exxon Mobil (8) PetroChina (9) General Electric (10) Wells Fargo.
