  • Paper by FiftyThree Updated With Think Kit; Adds Tools for Creating Charts & Diagrams

The popular Paper sketching and drawing application for the iPad by FiftyThree has been updated on Tuesday with all-new tools for creating charts, diagrams, wire-frames, and many other thought organization processes. The new update is being called "Think Kit" and comes standard with version 2.5.1 of the Paper by FiftyThree application from the App Store.

Think Kit comes with three main tools, which the developers call Diagram, Fill, and Cut.

With the Diagram tool, you can create flow charts and various other forms of diagrams that that can be used to organize information in a way that is easy to understand. The tool includes 'smart shapes,' which automatically complete themselves based on your drawings. The developers also note that you can draw connecting lines between ideas.

The Fill tool is used to add color schemes to your diagrams; FiftyThree notes that Fill will work with trend lines and pie charts, as well as various other diagrams that can be made with Think Kit and that the colors will fill the sections of the chart so they are not only informational, but also visually appealing.

And finally, the Cut tool is used to create organizational patterns in your charts and diagrams. With it, you can easily move things around on your diagrams to a new location and they'll still represent all of the same data that you intend them to.

If you're already a Paper by FiftyThree user, then the update is waiting for you for free under the Updates tab in the App Store application on your iPad. If you have automatic updates enabled, then it will be installed for you automatically. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Paper by FiftyThree for free from this App Store link.
