  • Apple Has Begun Announcing WWDC 2015 Scholarship Winners

According to social media posts and scant media coverage trickling in at this late afternoon hour on Friday, Apple has apparently started notifying winners of this year's WWDC 2015 scholarships.

Apple, however, hasn't publicly announced the names of the winners. But we're hearing from winners that they've just heard the good news. We don't know how many people have already gotten the message, but the number scholarships being awarded this year jumped to 350.

The actual message shared by Apple with scholarship recipients is posted above.

As MMi previously reported, those seeking a scholarship were required to submit an app revealing their proficiency and general skills at Mac or iOS app building via Object-C and Swift or just Swift. The program was open to developers ages 13 and older.
