  • Localytics Rolls Out Apple Watch SDK

Everyone wants a piece of Apple Watch. That includes the team at Localytics.

On Thursday, the marketing and analytics platform for mobile and web apps rolled out their eagerly awaited Apple Watch Software Development Kit (SDK).

According to an announcement from the company shared with MMi, the kit lets mobile marketers analyze how their users are engaging with the Apple Watch. It's also possible to send "timely and targeted messages" directly to the wearable. Additionally, it's possible to keep tabs on the watch when it comes to cross channel behaviors.

"The Apple Watch represents a new engagement opportunity for businesses but it's still early days, so it's important for app owners to get a clear sense of how their users are interacting with the Watch," Raj Aggarwal, CEO of Localytics, said in a statement. "Our Apple Watch SDK gives our customers the best chance of understanding how the Watch will impact their business, providing them with the knowledge they need to craft a relevant, personalized app marketing strategy."
