  • Flickr for iOS Updated With Auto Uploadr, Fresh new UI, and Photo Editing Improvements

Yahoo! has updated its Flickr application for iOS to version 4.0, answering a lot of users' requests to bring back the automatic uploading feature that Yahoo! calls 'Auto Uploadr.'

With Auto Uploadr, your Camera Roll is uploaded to Flickr automatically, but fortunately, you can control what photos are shared and what ones are kept private; it works similarly to Apple's iCloud Photo Stream. You get a very generous 1000GB (that's nearly 1TB) of storage space for your photos, so you'll have plenty of room to store all of your photos and videos from all of your iOS devices.

Also new in Flickr 4.0 is a revamped UI that looks better. The new look is illustrated in the screenshots above, which demonstrate the better appearance and user-friendly UI that should be easier to use. Flickr 4.0 also gives users more editing tools for their photos. Built in are new tools for users to make edits to their photos, and even apply new filters.
