  • Five Great Free Apps and Games for iOS - May 7th Edition

In this post, we're going to show you five great free games and applications for iOS from the App Store to help keep you the loop of some neat free games and/or applications and hey; feel free to download them and give them a try!

If you missed our previous Five Great Free Apps and Games for iOS, you can head over to this link to read our April 30th edition.

    1. BoxPop

First on our list this week is a puzzle game called BoxPop. In this game, your objective is to move to all of the boxes in the figure you are given by using the 'L' shaped movement that you would use if you were playing as the knight in Chess. You can only move in the 'L' shape and you can't move to the same box more than once and you want to try and land on all of the boxes before advancing to the next level for the best score. As you move on through the game, it gets harder and harder to play. It will test your skills and intelligence and you'll likely experience those 'rage quit' moments as the game advances in difficulty. No worries, however, this is a fun game and will be worth the try; it even supports the Apple Watch; check it out!

You can download BoxPop for free from this App Store link.

    2. The Line Zen

Next on our list this week is The Line Zen. In this game, you want to try and avoid all obstacles at all costs. You have to drag left and right on the touch screen to move your orb and avoid all upcoming obstructions and stay in the center of the open path. There will be turns and curves and all sorts of other things to try and throw you off your game, just focus on your task and achieve as high of a score as you can. It will test your patience and your skills, and it will have that addicting feel to it that you'd expect from a game like this. Check it out!

    3. Wrassling

It wouldn't be a party without Wrassling; in this action game, you have to use your hand-eye coordination skills to throw your opponent out of the ring using just a few controls. Your characters may look like little robots, but they're ready to Wrassle. Your controls let you move around in the ring and fling your arms in various directions. You have to use the navigation controls to move towards or away from your opponent and then time your movements with the 'flinging' arms to send them flying out of the ring - this is how your score is kept. At the same time, don't let them throw you out of the ring, or you'll lose. Check it out!

You can download Wrassling for free from this App Store link.

    4. Tadpole Tap

Tadpole Tap is another game we want to recommend this week because of its addictive nature and fun game play. Your goal in this game is to climb as high as you can with your tadpole character by leaping from obstacle to obstacle with its tongue. You want to avoid the obvious traps, such as balls of electricity and spike balls, but jump from the bushes. You can also tap on flies to eat them, which will lead to in-game rewards later on. When you die, your score is recorded so that you can try to beat it the next time you play and you can even unlock achievements. Check it out!

You can download Tadpole Tap for free from this App Store link.

    5. Swing Hero

Last, but not least on our list of recommended games this week is Swing Hero. In this platform game, you need to swing from platform to platform without accidentally falling short of the platform or over-jumping it and falling to your death. You can land anywhere on the black portion of the platform, but ideally, you want to try and land on the red portion, which is very small in comparison to the black portion. Just tap to swing over to the next platform and you're good to go! Check it out!
