  • Developers Chosen at Random Still Waiting for Their Apple Watch to Ship

Last week we reported that certain developers would be selected to have the Apple Watch shipped out to them by Wednesday, April 28th. The Cupertino-based company actually promised to ship out the wearable device on that day, however, developers are still seeing their orders as ‘processing.’ This means that the company is behind on schedule. Developers were picked at random and offered to purchase the 42mm Apple Watch Sport with the blue band.

According to Dancetron’s Richard Bottoms who was picked to participate in the program, his order is still being processed and his ship date is sometime in June. Bottoms is not the only developer seeing such delayed ship times as other developers reported the same thing on social media site Twitter. We wonder if this means that Apple is behind on producing the wearable devices in general. The full number of developers affected by this delay is unknown.

Are you a developer currently experiencing this? Share with us in the section below.

Oh, my heart weeps. Let me tell you how sorry I am at the developers who won a lottery to get their watches ahead of just about everyone else haven't.

I'm crying over here. Real tears.
