  • Five Great Free Apps and Games for iOS - April 30th Edition

In this post, we're going to show you five great free games and applications for iOS from the App Store to help keep you the loop of some neat free games and applications and hey; feel free to download them and give them a try!

If you missed our previous Five Great Free Apps and Games for iOS, you can head over to this link to read our April 23rd edition.

    1. Crono

First on our list this week is a very cool GPS tracking application for sport enthusiasts called Crono, and did we mention it's made by the guy that brought us ProTube? It's Apple Watch-compatible and allows you to record sessions of transport-based work-outs, such as hiking, walking, jogging, running, biking, and more. The application keeps track of where you went and how far it was, as well as your average speed. Speed graphs and altitude graphs are included for your viewing pleasure. Check it out!

You can download Crono for free from this App Store link.

    2. Does Not Commute

Next up is a fun game with great game play and graphics called Does Not Commute. In this game, you will drive various cars, to get from checkpoint A to checkpoint B, but you have to plan your routes carefully so that you don't end up colliding with another car. You drive all the vehicles, so your routing and timing is very important. You'll want to prevent allowing two routes to collide at one point. Check it out!

You can download Does Not Commute for free from this App Store link.

    3. Balance Fortress

Balance Fortress is next on our list and is a game where you have to try and stack up as high as you can before everything comes crashing down. The game play is pretty simple in that all you have to to is move the platform left and right with your finger by tapping and dragging. When you stack an item, you want to keep it as centered as possible because as you go higher, every bit of imbalance will make it harder to keep your stack growing high without topping. Check it out!

You can download Balance Fortress for free from this App Store link.

    4. Bouncy Bits

Bouncy Bits is another game that we recommend this week, but this one is more challenging than fun. You'll have to bounce over and through the obstacles, both moving and still, without touching them as your subject bounces across the platform. When you hit an obstacle, it's game over. Tapping on the display forces your subject to bounce, while not doing anything continues a generic bouncing rhythm. Check it out!

You can download Bouncy Bits for free from this App Store link.

    5. HISTORY Here

Last, but not least on our list this week, is an application called HISTORY Here, which is brought to you by the History channel. This application is also Apple Watch-compatible and allows you to see historic places and pieces around you and your neighborhood. You can tap on objects around you to learn more about them and help yourself discover the things you never even knew were around you. Check it out!

You can download HISTORY Here for free from this App Store link.

Stay tuned for next week's five great free apps and game for iOS!

Does not commute gets a 4/5 for me. Fun and the perfect level of difficult. Would be 5/5 except for the slightly tiring nature of the repetitiveness and that checkpoints are an in-app purchase.
