  • Online Personal Setup Sessions Available for Apple Watch Owners

Those who received their Apple Watch devices recently should have received an invitation from Apple asking them to setup an online Personal Setup session as well. This is so that the customers can use the device and set it up without having to make a physical trip to the Apple Store. Apple’s website is provided in the email where you can schedule a chat with the Apple specialists in the morning, afternoon, and evening window.

Customers who actually go ahead and schedule an appointment with an Apple specialist will have a video session with them. This way, the Apple specialist will be able to answer any of your questions as well as show the setup steps. Video sessions vary anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour, depending on the situation.

Typically, working with an Apple specialist would require you to go to the Apple Store in order to do so. However, this whole digital aspect goes hand in hand with the company’s push for the Apple Watch to be an ‘online only’ policy. If being in a video session with a specialist is awkward for you, Apple’s Guided Tours page is another resource that may be able to help you out.
