  • Apple Fires Off Emails to Those Pre-ordering Apple Watch: "We're Working On Your Order"

Apple has sent off a burst of e-mails to those that have pre-ordered the Apple Watch notifying them once again that they're working on everyone's pre-orders.

The e-mail is being sent to many that have pre-ordered the wearable tech accessory and comes complete with an estimated delivery window, as well as information about how to tour the Apple Watch and the requirements to use the Apple Watch.

Notably, those that haven't been charged for the accessory and haven't had their order changed to "preparing for shipment" seem to make up the meat of those getting this e-mail, but those that have their Apple Watch in the "preparing for shipment" status don't appear to be. It seems to be a warning message that perhaps you'll have to wait a little longer.

    Have you received the e-mail?

My email says your shipment is on its way and my shipping status on the Apple Store app says shipped-signature required on April 23rd. Does that mean I'll get it today? That would be awesome.

"but those that have their Apple Watch in the "preparing for shipment" status don't appear to be. It seems to be a warning message that perhaps you'll have to wait a little longer."

That doesn't make sense when a previous posting stated that those who were originally slated for a June delivery date are now receiving "Preparing for Shipment" emails. Why would those who obviously placed their orders later than others be getting their shipments before?

I'm not getting my hopes up and I'm not going to be discouraged, not yet. I got my first order in around 12:04 and the second order by 12:10 and both have stated delivery from 4/24 - 5/8. And now my [Apple] Watch begins.
