  • Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak to Help Launch Silicon Valley Comic Con in 2016

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak recently announced that he was going to help launch the Silicon Valley Comic Con in San Jose, California on March 19-20, 2016. Wozniak decided to do this because he feels that everyone in the Silicon Valley should have fun doing what they love and by bringing Comic Con to the area, everyone can enjoy various kinds of entertainment from movies, TV shows, web series, music, video games and more. He had the following to say in a memo posted on the convention’s website:

I'm teaming up with friends to make this happen because I want to give Silicon Valley it's very own kind of Comic Con where everyone can have fun enjoying what they love. Today we're lucky to have so many kinds of entertainment, from movies, TV shows, web series, music, video games, social media and more, and the lines between entertainment and the technology we love so much in Silicon Valley are getting blurrier every day. We're going to create a place where all these different kinds of interests can come together, and we can come together too.
As part of the efforts, Wozniak stars in a new video that introduces the Silicon Valley Comic Con with an appearance by Marvel comic writer and legend, Stan Lee. Those of you interested in seeing the video can do so below:

As of right now, aside from the fact that the event will be held at the San Jose Convention Center, no further information has been revealed. That includes guests, pricing and anything else have yet to be announced to the public. Those interested in attending will have to wait for more information.
