  • Apple Watch on Display at the Design Fair in Milan, Italy

It has been reported by Macitynet that the Apple Watch is being displayed to the public today at the Salone Del Mobile design fair in Milan, Italy. This is definitely interesting because it is the first time the device has been displayed in public outside of Apple’s Retail Stores and pop up shops. The design fair is taking place at the Carlo e Camilia restaurant in Segheria.

The popular wearable device is being shown in glass-top tables presented in long rows, much like the Cupertino-based company’s own retail stores. Even though the devices are on display, the Apple Watch is not available for pre-order in Italy as they were not listed on the first wave of countries to have it.

Just like Apple Retail stores, the design fair is allowing the public to schedule try-on appointments for the device. The senior VP of worldwide marketing at Apple, Phil Schiller and Marc Newson were present at the event to experience the launch. We are sure they were very satisfied with the debut.
