  • More Apple LTE Devices to Reach Chinese Consumers

Business is about to pick up in China for Apple.

According to published reports Wednesday, China Unicom and China Telecom have confirmed plans to carry Apple's newest LTE-model iPads.

Before the end of March, the carriers will make available to their respective subscribers the iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3.

Although Apple has already released these products to their Apple stores in China, the carrier arrangement now in place opens up an entirely new world of possibilities and opportunities for Apple to expand its reach inside the world's most populous nation.

With sales of iPhones growing stronger than expected at a pace that's more brisk than expected, Apple's business in China could add far more to the company's 2015 bottom line than many analysts have previously anticipated.

With new products and new Apple stores on the horizon in China (including Apple Watch), look for Chinese-driven Apple revenue to be of blockbuster proportions over the next nine months.
