  • Following Announcement of New MacBook, Apple's Web Site Now Offering USB-C Accessories

Apple has updated its online store Monday evening with additional products pertaining to the new 12-inch MacBook, which was unveiled today at Apple's 'Spring Forward' special event.

The new accessories take advantage of the new USB-C technology that is used as an I/O interface for the new MacBook, as well as for charging the machine.

There are five new accessories in total for USB-C, and include the following with the following prices:

For some of the more basic computer users, the new lightweight design of the computer without the mess of all the ports that they'll never use is great. For others, having to buy all of these accessories that can easily add up to hundreds of dollars just to use your own accessories with the new MacBook will be a turn off that will lead people to buy alternative computers from Apple like the MacBook Air or MacBook Pro.

Nonetheless, if you need the accessories, they're at least available to you in some way shape or form, whether convenient or not, or aesthetically appealing or not.

I think we all know what the 'c' really stands for...
Anyway it should at least come with a USB adapter.
