Apple security updates - Apple Support
The update is available OTA (over the air) in the Settings application under Settings > General > Software Update, but is also available from iTunes if you want to download the update and install it manually. The update is required if you plan on ordering an Apple Watch in the near future.

Jailbreakers need to stay away from this update if they want to keep their beloved jailbreak tweaks because iOS 8.2 cannot be jailbroken at this point in time.

I'm on 8.2 beta 2 jail broken-the jailbreak has been pretty stable thus far and I probably will not update until 8.2 (public release) is jailbreakable and worth updating.

How is compatibility with existing tweaks?

Springtomize 3 for iOS 7&8 does not work at all......otherwise all other tweaks seem to be compatible. Although there are some tweaks that have to be purchased that will not allow you to purchase and install, but there are some repos where the same tweaks can be downloaded for free.

OpenNotifier was for iOS 8 too? I looked and it mentions iOS 5. Is there a repo with a new version or something?

I don't think anyone NEEDS a camera in a watch. But as an Owner of both the Samsung Galaxy Gear and The Omate Truesmart. They DO come in handy.

And when you think about it, companion devices are there to come in handy.

Who uses the health app? I don't see or hear anyone talk about the health app for them to do updates for it every single time

I use it. It actually has some interesting uses. You can use it to sync calorie intake and fitness in one app for example.

I use it, particularly when I'm living a halfway healthy lifestyle. As mentioned, it syncs with other apps, be it an exercise app or age real activity/sleep tracking app. Then all the information is viewable in the health app, including movement for the day-steps, distance, etc. it's cool for those who use it.

Why do people want a jailbreak right after 8.2 drops? WAIT!!!! We don't need to waste exploits that can be saved until closer to 8.3 that could be patched in day 8.2.1. I swear people. But if the watch wasnt so overpriced I feel more people would but it. I will still hopefully be getting one however.
