  • Non-Retina MacBook Air Line to be Updated in Late February

Rumors have been going around claiming that Apple’s 12-inch Retina MacBook Air will be released sometime in the middle of this year. However, there are new claims saying that the company’s current MacBook Air line will be updated later this month. Reports come from a foreign news site called Letem Svetem Applem and they are saying that the refreshed line may be released as early as February 24th.

According to the foreign website, the update will apparently not have a keynote presentation or even a fanfare. This is interesting news since the line is rumored to have some changes but the Cupertino-based company has yet to announce anything. And considering February 24th is only a little over two weeks away, it definitely is unlike Apple to do something like this.

It was also noted that when the refreshed line gets released, Apple has no plans on announcing the rumored 12-inch Retina MacBook Air release. The news website noted that Apple is hoping the quiet line update will hold over users until the new laptop gets released. It is believed that storage and processing power changes will be made to the current lineup. We guess we will have to wait for this to happen and then see what Apple’s plans were.
