  • Apple to Hold Media Event in Late February?

Although this is the first rumor we've heard regarding such, the latest chatter in the tech news world today suggests that Apple may hold a media event before the month of February comes to a close.

The French Apple blog iGen says Apple is gearing up for a February 24th media event where the company may unveil a new MacBook Air with Retina Display. Sources close to Apple reportedly told the blog that the event could likely bring with it additional announcements, although we're not clear on what those announcements could be about.

The rumor mill suggests that Apple may debut the "iPad Pro" and show off the final array of launch-ready Apple Watches before preorders commence possibly at some point during the month of March. During last week's earnings report, Apple CEO Tim Cook said Apple Watch will ship in April, though he didn't confirm whether it would be early or late April.

It should be noted that the aforementioned February 24th media event still seems dubious given the lack of chatter about such an event both from Apple sources and supply chain contacts. But if it's going to happen, we won't have to wait long to find out.

Any news on Macbook Pros with the latest GPUs and the long awaited battery capacity boost?
3rd party battery replacements are nearly impossible since the last couple MBP iterations... even iFixit doesn't have a solution since the battery is super glued to the chassis... and Apple charges 200$ for the replacement... [email protected]#tards!
Been waiting to buy the MBP since ages... but they still come with last gen nVidia GPUs...
