  • Developers Being Asked to Launch Compatible Apple Watch Apps Next Month

As Apple’s highly anticipated Apple Watch is set to release in April, the company is apparently already asking well-known app developers to ready compatible iPhone apps ahead of the launch. The Cupertino-based company is asking app developers to launch their Apple Watch compatible iPhone apps next month in the app store. More specifically, MacRumors reported that Apple is asking one of its mobile payment system partners to release an iOS app that has WatchKit support by February 12th.

We are not sure why Apple is requesting for an early launch on the apps but it might be because they want to test them out before it becomes official in April. Many reports are claiming that employees at Apple have already been trying out the wearable device and looking to finalize everything soon. The company’s mobile payment system will apparently be a big aspect of the Apple Watch. We guess we will just have to wait and see what is in store for everyone when the company releases the final product in April. Are you excited for the device as we are now getting closer to the launch date? Let us know in the comment below.
