  • Apple's 12-inch Macbook Air With Retina Display to Launch Q1 2015

Rumors are circulating the web saying that Apple’s highly anticipated 12-inch MacBook Air with Retina Display is looking at a 2015 first quarter launch date. According to DigiTimes, Quanta Computer has already started on production and therefore the launch may be as soon as this quarter. It was noted that Quanta has hired more workers and may even add 30,000 more to work on not only the new laptop but the highly anticipated Apple Watch as well.

DigiTimes also claimed that the new 12-inch Retina MacBook Air will be replacing Apple’s current 11-inch entry level MacBook Air, while still keeping the 13-inch one. The new MacBook is supposed to sport a new Broadwell Core M processor, which is what will make the laptop thin along with a high-resolution Retina display. We would take the reports by DigiTimes with a grain of salt as they are known for unreliable Apple product predictions.

However, we wouldn’t rule out the possibilities for sure as they may be right in regards to some things. Will you be purchasing the new 12-inch MacBook Air? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
