    AT&T has released a completely re-designed version of its U-verse application for the iOS platform dubbed version 4.0. The updated application is now available in the iOS App Store free of charge for all users, new and old.

    If you've never used the AT&T U-verse application before, the main purpose of the application is to give AT&T U-verse users a way to control and keep an eye on their services on the go with their iPhones, iPod touches, and iPads. The application gives you a T.V. guide, a remote control, the ability to watch T.V. right on your mobile device, the ability to view and edit digital recordings from home, and much more.

    The re-designed version of the application that has just been released gives the application a fresh new look and feel with easier-to-understand navigation. The App Store changes indicate that the update will make it easier for users to track their favorite shows and even recommends shows that you might like based on what you already like. Personalizing your AT&T U-verse Home Page has never been easier than it has become with this update.

    The AT&T U-verse application is now also a universal binary, meaning that it runs on all devices without having a separate applications for each device.
