  • Microsoft Updates its Bing iOS App With All-new Home Screen and Other Improvements

Microsoft has released an updated version of its Bing Search application for the iOS platform on Thursday with improvements fitting the demands of its users in the all-new version 5.3 of the application.

Among the most important of the new features in this update is the re-designed Home Screen of the Bing Search application. The new Home Screen not only looks better, but aims to make usage easier by making navigation feel more natural.

The update also makes it easier to move between pages in the application, as well as gives you access to trending stories, weather, and more right from one place.

Existing users of the Bing Search application for iOS will find this update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Bing Search for free from this App Store link.

I'll stick with the Google search app.

Why even have a search app? Why not just use the built in spotlight?

I use spotlight to search for apps on my phone. Web searches and the like I use chrome or the Google search app.

Just seems like an extra step, but to each his own.
