  • MLB Ballpark and Priceline Now Support Apple Pay In-App Checkout

We reported a few weeks ago that the Disney and Apple iOS apps started supporting Apple Pay checkouts. Then just a few days ago it was reported that Apple started accepting Apple Pay on its Online Store. Now more reports have been released saying that Apple Pay is also being accepted in the Priceline and MLB.com Ballpark iOS apps. However, currently Apple Pay is only accepting ‘Express Deals’ to pay for hotel reservations. Consumers are still required to book everything manually, but will have the option to checkout via Apple Pay using Touch ID to confirm payments. Those who own an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2, and iPad Mini 3 devices will be able to use Apple Pay during checkout.

As for MLB.com Ballpark, only ‘select MLB Clubs’ are accepting the feature to pay for game tickets for 2015. In order to view available tickets, consumers will still need to set up an account within the app and if the game selected supports Apple Pay, then you can use the feature. Back in October, the Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City and the AT&T Park in San Francisco were the first baseball stadiums to accept Apple Pay. The stadiums launched it just in time for the 2014 World Series games between the Kansas City Royals and San Francisco Giants.

The Cupertino-based company is definitely getting more support for its Apple Pay feature. More and more apps, stores, and banks are rolling out Apple Pay support and it is only getting more successful from here. Have you tried using the feature yet? How do you like it? Let us know in the comments below.
