  • Facebook for iOS Updated With Improvements to the Graph Search Feature

On Monday, social networking giant Facebook launched an updated version of its mobile application on the iOS platform. Version 20.0 can now be downloaded from the App Store, and is one of many updates that the company has been releasing to its application on a monthly basis in order to improve on the application's usability and stability.

Monday's update focuses primarily on the application's Graph Search feature, as the social network noted in a blog post this afternoon:

You’ve given us a lot of feedback on the Graph Search beta. You’ve told us the most important thing is being able to find posts you’ve seen before, and now you can. With a quick search, you can get back to a fun video from your graduation, a news article you’ve been meaning to read, or photos from your friend’s wedding last summer.

If you want to search using phrases like “My friends who live in New York,” you still can.

Your search results are personalized and unique to you and, as always, you can only see things that have been shared with you.
The new search feature is intended to make it easier for users to find things that you've either seen before or have been involved in. As Facebook notes, the search results are tailored to the user to offer a unique and ever-expanding search result experience.

The updated Facebook application is available under the Updates tab in the App Store application for existing Facebook for iOS users. Alternatively, you can download latest version of the Facebook application for iOS for free from this App Store link if you're not already using it.

If you have to search for your friends who live in New York, you don't have friends. You have Fakebook Friends.
