  • New Languages and Features Added to iWork for iCloud

A new update came to Apple’s web-based iWork suite today and new languages as well as new features were added to Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. When users go to their iCloud account, they are notified that French, Simplified Chinese, Arabic, Hebrew, German, Brazilian Portuguese, and Japanese are now supported in the Pages app. Along with new supported language comes new fonts in the recent update. 50 additional fonts have been added including Hebrew and Arabic. As for the Keynote and Numbers browser-based app, languages added include German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, and French.

Users will now also be able to edit a document name or rename it, resize and move chart legends, and drag wedges from a pie in Pages, Keynote, and Numbers. Those with a free iCloud account will be able to try out the iCloud apps as they are still in beta. However, users will need Safari 8 or later, Google Chrome 28 or later, or Firefox 22 or later on the Mac. Windows users will need Internet Explorer 10 in order to be able to run the programs.
