  • 'iPad for Life' Plan Comes to Sprint

Mobile company Sprint has recently announced their ‘iPad for Life’ plan where customers will be able to get an iPad without having to pay anything at the time of purchase. The ‘iPad for Life’ plan is almost like the company’s offering for the iPhone where the device can be leased and paid monthly for 24 months. Those interested in Apple’s new iPad Air 2 or iPad Mini 3 will be able to use this deal with Sprint. Depending on the model of the iPad, your monthly payment will vary. According to the VP of Marketing, Tom Roberts:

With our announcement of the iPad for Life Plan, Sprint is the only wireless carrier giving customers the ability to acquire an iPad Air 2 for only $20 per month or the iPad Mini 3 for only $17 per month with no out-of-pocket costs. And, with the iPad for Life Plan, customers can easily upgrade their tablet every two years.
The base 16GB iPad Mini 3 begins at $17 per month and the base 16GB iPad Air 2 starts at $20 per month. When the term of the lease is up, consumers will be able to cancel service, purchase the device, lease a different device, or keep the same device and continue to lease monthly. Sprint’s Family Share Pack can include iPads for an additional $10 a month. But those who pay for 20GB of data or more a month, will be waived of the fee when newly activating a line. This promotion will be ongoing until December of 2015.

Pricing for the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 on the ‘iPad for Life Plan’ are as follows:

    • 16GB iPad Air 2: $20/month
    • 64GB iPad Air 2: $24/month
    • 128GB iPad Air 2: $28/month

    • 16GB iPad Mini 3: $17/month
    • 64GB iPad Mini 3: $21/month
    • 128GB iPad Mini 3: $25/month

Actually, that's not too bad. For example, the 128gb version is going to cost you $336 per year, which is almost the full price for two year lease.

so what do you guys think....... yea or nay?
