  • Apple Takes Testing to the Next Level with TestFlight

Apple just made the beta testing process an even bigger party for developers.

"You can now invite up to 1,000 testers to beta test your iOS apps by simply sending them an email invitation through iTunes Connect," Apple announced Thursday on its official developer blog.

"Once they accept your invitation, testers can install your beta app on their iOS devices, get updated builds, and provide feedback, all within the TestFlight app," the company explains.

This is the first major augmentation of the platform since Apple acquired TestFlight early in 2014. Since then, Apple has touted the resource as a means for helping devs both kick-start and better control their public app beta projects.

With a more expansive means for generating comprehensive feedback for their apps, developers will likely appreciate the opportunity to more quickly bring effective and functional apps to market.

This is a really nice update. I can't wait to finally get my developers license next month and take advantage of these new features.
