  • Apple to Release iPhone 6 Lineup in 36 More Countries This Month

Apple has had great success with their new iPhone 6 lineup in the countries they have released the devices so far. Recent reports even show that presales in China may be breaking U.S. records since its availability on Friday. With the major recent success, the Cupertino-based company officially announced today that they would be launching the lineup in 36 more countries by the end of this month. They are looking to launch the smartphones in a total of 115 countries by the end of 2014- starting with China and India this week, on October 17th.

The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will be available on October 23rd in Israel, with a debut in Greenland, Czech Republic, Poland, South Africa, French West Indies, Malta, and Reunion Island on October 24th. Then the expansion hops on over to the Middle East with Bahrain and Kuwait on October 30th, and last but not least in Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Guam, Hungary, Iceland, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macau, Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, South Korea, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Thailand on October 31st.

By the end of October, Apple would have debuted the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in a total of 69 countries worldwide. This means that the goal for the company by the end of 2014 is another 46 countries, which we believe is definitely doable. According to Eddy Cue, the iPhone 6 lineup is "the best product pipeline that I've seen in my 25 years at Apple" and the company says this was the fastest iPhone rollout ever. Apple is getting ready for their October 16th event this week and is expected to announce their new iPad lineup, OS X Yosemite, and touch base about the highly anticipated Apple Pay feature.

Not hating or anything, but I'm surprised anyone in Albania could afford one. Seems like that'd be a pretty non-market.

Edit: I didn't hit quote, so I'm not sure why it quoted.

Plenty of crooks in Albania with Mercs, so they need iPhones to go with their image

I have a company issued iPhone and have for about 4 years. I have had the 4S, 5, 5C, 5S all from work. We ordered Verizon and AT&T iPhone 6 models and the Verizon phones just arrived yesterday. Still awaiting the AT&T phones so that I can swap :]

Here is my issue. Apple needs to stop releasing the I6+ to other country's. The need to fulfill the orders they have and then ship to other country's. It is bs to say preparing to ship when they have no phones to ship.
