  • Apple Releases OS X Yosemite Public Beta 6

Apple on Monday released public beta 6 of its OS X Yosemite Mac operating system to those participating in the public beta program.

Those running a public beta already will be able to snag this update from the Updates tab in the Mac App Store application, or by going to the  in the Menu Bar and picking "Software Update" from the populated list of options.

OS X Yosemite Public Beta 6 includes a variety of bug fixes and stability improvements over the last public beta. The current public beta build matches that of the recently-seeded GM for developers.

Apple's upcoming event on Thursday is expected to reveal more details about the new operating system, which has numerous new features that work seamlessly across all of your Macs and iOS 8 devices. Stay tuned!
